[edit] Wireless: zd1211 or rt2x00?

The ZD1211 network adapter is natively supported since kernel 2.6.18. For this reason it is the best (and maybe the only ?) choice if you plan to connect your kurobox to your wireless network !

The Ralink rt2x00 has Free Software drivers which even support raw frame injection -- the first for an 802.11g chipset. (The Prism2 only provides 802.11b.) The D-Link DWL-G122 Hardware Version B1, which can be found on eBay, uses the rt2750 chipset (compatible with the rt2x00 serialmonkey GPL driver). -- Zuzu 17:43, 22 April 2007 (CDT)

[edit] Add a USB port and external RP-SMA antenna?

These instructions could also include connecting the USB wireless card directly to an unused internal USB port and then adding an external RP-SMA port by soldering directly onto the antenna pad (of a DWL-G122 version B1). Zuzu 18:02, 22 April 2007 (CDT)
