A Stub is an article that is too short to fully describe the subject, but not so short as to provide no useful information. It is probably long enough to at least define the article's title and its meaning
This is only a starting point. A stub has only basic coverage about the subject. In other words, a stub is an article which is so incomplete that an editor who knows about the topic could improve its content after a superficial Web search or a few minutes in a reference library.
