Buffalo has released a new version of the LinkStation[5]. based on a Mediabolic Reference Design[6] similar to the Maxtor shared storage II[7] device.

if you unpack the zip-file you get the following files:
hddrootfs.img initrd.img linkstation_version.txt LSUpdater.exe lsupdater.ini u-boot.buffalo.updated uImage.buffalo
this is the password which can be used to unpack hddrootfs.img and initrd.img (=Ramdisk...this is the EM Mode Linux)
