HairyDariyMaid
HairyDairyMaid is a simple flash programmer utility that was originally written to debrick a Linksys WRT54G.
As near as I can tell, the home page is http://downloads.openwrt.org/utils/ . There is a pdf file included in that download bundle. I suggest you read it. (You can skip the description of the WRT hardware.)
Interface Cable
According to the author, HairyDairyMaid was written for only parallel port cables.
Board Support
It was originally written for WRT, but the flash chips may use the same interface.
I suspect it may work only for MIPS hardware (e.g. LS2)
