bbradley: just times out, I've found that you don't have to modify the source, you can use "arm7_9 dbgrq <enable|disable>"

[5:09pm] bbradley: apparently if the box is totally bricked (i.e. empty/totally corrupt flash) it won't halt enabled but when it has something there it won't halt with it disabled
