Introduction
FUPPES, or Free UPnP Entertainment Service, is an open source application that can be used to stream music, pictures or video to a wide variety of UPnP renderers. Some of its distinguishing characteristics are:
- it is free of cost (unlike Twonky products)
- it is faster and more lightweight than MediaTomb
- more feature-rich than uShare
